A rectangle-plan hollow brick, set on its side, cut with an irregular scatter of openings — biomorphic shapes, slots, a circle, a crescent — none of them repeating, none following a system. The piece is pure improvisation, each opening a response to the one before it rather than part of a plan.
Slip-cast, then cut and finished by hand. Shown in Gartzite White glaze on a white stoneware body. A G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece is one of a kind, but could be made in a small batch, where each would be a little different.
