Sculptural ceramic lamps and vases, made by hand in small batches, for interior designers, decorators, showrooms and galleries. Pieces can be specified for a project, stocked for resale, or made in custom glazes.
Interior designers and decorators
Designers receive 25% off retail pricing for client projects. Orders are placed directly with the studio, with a 50% deposit at order and the balance due before shipping.
Showrooms, shops and galleries
Wholesale pricing is 50% of retail, and we ask that retail prices stay consistent across channels. The first order is a minimum of three pieces, prepaid. Net 30 terms are available after two completed orders.
Lead times
Most pieces are made to order and typically ship in 4–6 weeks, depending on the piece and the size of the order. Larger orders and custom glazes take longer, and we confirm timing when you order. In-stock pieces ship within five business days.
Samples and first placements
For showrooms and galleries, we offer a limited number of 60-day loans of a piece. You cover shipping both ways and insurance, and you either purchase the piece or return it.
Custom work
Custom glazes, sizes and commissions are available. Custom orders take 6–10 weeks, require a non-refundable 50% deposit, and are final sale.
Shipping and returns
Every piece is double boxed. The buyer pays freight and insurance, and damage must be reported within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the piece and packaging. Made-to-order and custom pieces are final sale. In-stock pieces may be returned within 14 days in original packaging, at the buyer's cost.
Electrical
Our lamps use UL-listed components. The assembled lamps are not themselves UL-listed. Please let us know if a project requires specific certification.
Designs and images
All designs and images remain the property of James Hicks Design LLC. They may be used for the buyer's own marketing, and may not be copied or reproduced.
