A square-plan hollow brick, cut, incised and glazed so that the concentric rectangular openings echo the notched frame of a Frank Stella painting seen at the Glass House. Here the openings run longer than in Stella Lamp 1, taking more liberty with the proportions of the original painting while keeping the same underlying logic.
Slip-cast, then cut and assembled by hand. Shown in Blue Cloud on a tan clay body. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece is designed for small production runs.
