A square-plan hollow brick, the pattern of openings in which are also drawn from the Tomb of Eurysaces the Baker in Rome — the same source as Porta Maggiore Lamp, here worked into the wider square form rather than the narrow rectangle.
Slip-cast, then cut and assembled by hand. Shown in Blue Cloud on a tan clay body. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece is designed for small production runs.
