A rectangle-plan hollow brick, covered edge to edge in dense, freehand linework — gestural, layered, with no symmetry, closer to graffiti or street drawing than to a designed pattern. Irregular geometric openings, mostly squares and rectangles with a few circles, are cut directly through the linework.
Slip-cast, then cut and hand-painted. Finished in cobalt oxide on a white stoneware body. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece is one of a kind, but could be made in a small batch, where each would be a little different.
