Vertical Ribbons
A rectangular-plan hollow brick, cut with parallel vertical slits down the face and opened — the ribbons pushed outward, some bowing away from the body, others splaying free at the base into a loose fringe. The same logic as the Classic Lamp, taken further: where that piece holds the ribbons in a controlled arc, this one lets them go.
Slip-cast, then cut and assembled by hand. Shown in Oregano glaze on a white stoneware body. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece can be made in multiples, in any glaze currently in the studio.
