Oregano Sliced Légèrement Fondu Lamp
A square-plan hollow brick, sliced in the Ribbons tradition — but where the other Ribbons pieces hold their cuts in disciplined horizontal rows, here the slices have shifted and sagged, the ribbons no longer parallel, the whole form caught somewhere between a system and its dissolution. The French title names what happened: slightly melted.
Slip-cast, then cut and finished by hand. Finished in Oregano glaze on a white stoneware body. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece is one of a kind. Further pieces possible only as a unique, limited series.
