Moroccan Leather Bloom Lamp
A square-plan form, held at the top and base by solid ceramic caps, with the middle of the body opened into a cage of curved, blade-like ribbons that swell outward and taper back in. The geometry is disciplined at both ends and organic in between — a bloom contained within a box.
Slip-cast, then cut and assembled by hand. Shown in Moroccan Leather glaze on a white stoneware body. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece can be made in multiples, in any glaze currently in the studio.
