A rectangle-plan hollow brick, the pattern of openings and descriptive lines that are inspired by the Tomb of Eurysaces the Baker in Rome, here marked with the Mishima technique — black slip inlaid into unglazed white clay, scored into very thin lines. The result reads like an architectural drawing rendered directly onto the form, legible and structural rather than purely decorative.
Slip-cast, then cut, scored, and inlaid by hand. An E26 socket sits on top for the shade light.
This piece is currently one of a kind but could be made again in small lots.
