A square-plan hollow brick, densely cut with small varied openings — triangles, circles, rectangles, irregular shapes — many picked out in color. Unlike the purely improvised cuts in White Horizontal and Blue Asymmetric Lamp, this piece works from a developing system, worked out first in drawings, that allows for improvisation within a structure rather than without one.
Slip-cast, then cut and finished by hand. Shown in a mix of glazes on a white stoneware body. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece is designed for small production runs.
