A full square-plan hollow brick, cut in half and stacked — the bottom half holding a G9 light, the top half holding the E26 socket entirely enclosed within its own ceramic body, the bulb cloistered inside the form rather than sitting openly above it. Both halves are punctured with triangular openings between supporting legs, a rhythm borrowed from a cloister's repeating arcade, translated into angular cuts rather than arches.
Slip-cast, then cut and assembled by hand. Shown in Stone glaze. An E26 socket sits inside the upper half; a G9 socket sits inside the lower base.
This is the fourth version of an ongoing design, with hundreds of variations already drawn and many more possible. This piece is designed for small production runs.
