A rectangle-plan hollow brick, built from a tight, regular diamond lattice — raised and woven-looking, like basket weave translated into clay. Small diamond-shaped openings appear where the strands cross. The glazed surface carries a second, subtler layer: a wax-resist pattern of unglazed diamonds that echoes the cut openings, so the same shape repeats at two different scales and in two different registers.
Slip-cast, then cut, woven, and finished by hand. Shown in Silky glaze over unglazed white stoneware. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece is designed for small production runs.
