A rectangle-plan hollow brick, cut with round openings of a single uniform size, spaced unevenly across the surface — a rhythm rather than a grid, which gives the piece its name. Shown in red glaze on a white stoneware body.
Slip-cast, then cut and assembled by hand. An E26 socket sits on top for the shade light; a G9 socket can be added inside the base for an additional $100.
This piece is one of a kind, but could be made in a small batch, where each would be a little different.
