The same cylindrical base as Cylinder in Forest Green with Lou Kahn Inspired Openings, here paired with a matching all-ceramic shade — base, shade, and shade holder all made from the same clay and carrying the same Louis Kahn-inspired openings. Light passes through both the base and the shade, rather than stopping at a fabric covering.
Slip-cast, then cut and assembled by hand. Shown in Forest Green glaze on a tan clay body. An E26 socket sits on top for the shade light.
This piece is designed for small production runs.
