A square-plan hollow brick, cut with asymmetrical openings and finished with cobalt oxide painted freehand over a glossy clear TMZ glaze. Like Cobalt and White Lamp, it works within the cobalt-on-white tradition while pushing toward a modern register — the painted decoration set deliberately against openings that don't resolve into symmetry.
Slip-cast, then cut and assembled by hand, then painted. An E26 socket on top holds the shade light; a G9 socket sits inside the base.
This piece is currently one of a kind but could be made again in small lots.
